I started training with Sam in the January of 2017. As so many people do, new year, new resolutions and all the best intentions with none of the motivation. I never expected the tenure and results i eventually accomplished with Sam. Attentive, knowledgeable, hard working, fun and above all knows exactly how to push you in exactly the right way that motivates you. 10kg down and close to reaching my goal weight, I found out my husband and I were expecting our first child. Sam worked tirelessly, he was pivotal in keeping me fit, healthy and strong until a week before delivery, where, i was able to have a natural and pain relief free birth.
Just 6 weeks later, Sam was helping me slowly get my postpartum self up to my previous level, being insightful and conscious of my healing process.

Out of the few PT's ive had over the years, Sam was definitely the one that i fitted with best. His drive and motivation made me really look forward to my sessions. there was never a dull moment. He always pushed me to be my best self and motivated me to make through those last few reps when you feel you cany do anymore. His love for his job really shines through.
I was very nervous about going to the gym alone, without a gym buddy, but those fears became a myth after meeting Sam.
My overall fitness and strength improved a lot whilst training with him and even away from sessions he would always make time for me regarding questions on diet, workouts and nutrition.
He will not let you down. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their fitness, build mass, tone up, train for a personal goal, whatever it is you're looking for, Sam will provide it for you.

My name is lisa, I'm a 33 year old single mum. Quite some time back, I was at a dead end in my life, I didnt have any aspirations and didnt know where my life was going to lead. I didnt have a lot of support or positive people around me. I became depressed & withdrew into myself, this caused me to comfort eat. I wasnt exercising & i fell into a slump. I really thought this was my life!! But NO this wasn't my life, if I was going to change it, I had to do something about it!
My first focus was to join a gym to lose weight. The first day I went I had a induction with a nice lady & realised I could also get a personal trainer to help me!!
That same day I met Sam Sackey, he was well presented & came across calm, if I'm honest on first impression I wasnt to sure if we was going to hit it off as trainer and client.
BUT HOW WRONG WAS I......
I begun training with sam weekly, he was consistent, focused.
As the months went on I was losing weight quite quickly but also at a steady, controlled pace!
Sam guided me not only with my fitness but my nutrition as well as portion sizes.
As time went on, he became my only support that made me feel like I was invincible and that I could do anything in life.
HE MADE ME BELIEVE AGAIN!
he is a friend, but he was also my trainer, doctor, therapist, everything rolled into one!

When I met Sam, my life had just changed dramatically with me leaving uni, starting a new job and being far away from lots of my friends. I’d spent years playing hockey and so going to the gym by myself was a complete unknown for me and I found motivating myself outside of a team almost impossible. I’d joined the local gym and had a free PT session included and that was the first of many times I’d been put through my paces by Sam.
From that first session I’d learnt about how to use lots of equipment I’d never even set eyes on before as well as being pushed far more than I ever would have in the gym by myself. I decided to continue and it wasn’t long before we were doing 4 sessions a week together because I loved them so much. People at work thought I was mad getting up at 5.30 in the morning to train but I honestly don’t know what I would have done that year without Sam! He gave me so much more confidence both in the gym and outside as I became more confident in my own body.
I can now safely say I don’t feel at all intimdated walking into the weights area of the gym. Sam has given me all the knowledge and confidence I need to train for myself. From years of cardio I’d always been fit but never strong and it was my main goal to build muscle and look like I actually went to the gym rather than be skinny! Sam pushed me more and more each session and although I whinged every time and told him I couldn’t do it he was always so patient and encouraging and my strength came on so much. He was always sure to tell me how much stronger I had got too and pushed me to eat more and more calories which I’m not sure anyone could complain about.
Training with Sam was just like having your mate there. I have to admit that many times we just forgot about the timings of the sets completely as we would be lost chatting but this made it all the more enjoyable and one of the many reasons Sam is the best PT in London.

Phenomenal! highly recommended!! I wasnt always consisitent with my training, due to not knowing what to eat or when to train. I always doubted myself. Sam took the time to listen and had lots of patience with me. He literally answered all my questions, trained alongside me to help my confidence, gave me nutritional advice and scheduled our regular sessions. In two months, i felt how i wanted to feel and my body looked brilliant. If you want a Personal Trainer, then he's your man!!
1 million percent!!
